Lately I have observed a significant amount of buzz around organizations moving their email to the cloud – specifically around Microsoft’s Office 365 platform. In September we sponsored a webcast with WindowsITPro called, Office 365 – Bringing Enterprise-Class Cloud Email Capabilities to the Masses and it generated an overwhelming amount of interest on the topic. This made me wonder if all this attention is just curiosity or if organizations are seriously considering Office 365 as a replacement for their on-premise email platform.
I believe it is both!
If you fall into either of these categories and just want to learn more about Office 365, you are not alone. With the introduction of new cloud email options, it is expected that organizations will seek understanding of the new platform – to compare with their existing solution. Educating yourself is a great place to start! There are many resources available on the Microsoft Office 365 website and on the Quest Software Office 365 page.
Also, I encourage you to check out our newest webcast where John Savill, author and Windows Technical Specialist discusses how you might benefit from a cloud-based or hybrid email solution in terms of functionality, availability, and cost savings. By the end of the webcast, you’ll understand what the Office 365 email offering consists of, what it offers, how it will benefit you, and how you get there.
