Working in Wisconsin, I regularly interact with customers who battle inclement weather. In some worst-case scenarios, We've even seen complete data centers taken off line by snowstorms or flooding.
Recently during a particularly heavy storm, a customer asked if Foglight would support a "dynamic, constantly updating background dashboard." I must admit I had no idea what they were talking about but the question intrigued me. Upon further discussion, I realized the use-case was to better understand the effect weather and storms had upon the response times of web applications hosted across multiple datacenters.
