The K1000 as a Service provides you with all of the features and functionality of the K1000 on premise appliance in a hosted, cloud-delivered virtual appliance. These capabilities include PC and device inventory management and discovery, patch management, remote software distribution, IT security audit and enforcement, service desk management, power management, configuration and policy management, administrative and end-user alerts, and extensive dashboards and reporting capabilities.
Obtaining the K1000 as a Service can simplify the management of your IT environment, helping you reduce infrastructure costs – hardware, data center capacity, power – and free your IT personnel from supporting the appliance in your own infrastructure. The K1000 as a Service is currently available only in North America (U.S. and Canada). Click here to find out more about K1000 as a Service.
In addition, with the K1000 as a Service, you do not have to worry about allocating data center capacity to a physical or a virtual appliance. Dell takes care of the hosting, and all you need is a secure tunnel to the Virtual K1000 appliance to take advantage of the full set of K1000 features.
