New features in 2.2 include:
Direct Upgrade from SharePoint 2003 to SharePoint 2010 - Migration Manager 2.2 enables direct migration and consolidation of SharePoint 2003 sites, lists and document libraries to a new SharePoint 2010 server farm. The migration process preserves settings, versions, metadata, security permissions of SharePoint 2003 content. Post-migration synchronization replicates source content changes to the target sites automatically, making sure no data is lost while users are switching to the new version.
