Quest supports Operation ShareLove #ShareLoveNZJP and offers a prize to encourage your donations

What’s gone on in the Pac Rim region the last few weeks has been both unprecedented and devastating. With the disaster in New Zealand and the myriad challenges in Japan, I think we are all searching for way to help out. In typical fashion, the SharePoint community has banded together to help others in need. Dux Raymond Sy, evangelist and well known SharePoint MVP, has set up a program to support those that have been struck by devastation in Christchurch New Zealand as well as more recently in Japan.

Basically, all you need to do is donate $25 (USD) or more to the relief charity of your choice and provide proof of donation. Once this is done, you will receive a free eBook and also be entered to win one of several prizes. The prizes have been graciously provided by many different companies within the SharePoint space. The prize raffle takes place on April 15, when Dux’s fund drive ends. The raffle will be broadcasted live and online. See details here:

For Quest’s part, we are making several contributions. First, we are contributing a TomTom Go 2505 ($299 value) for Dux’s program. Additionally, the Quest Corporate Charity Fund will make an initial donation of $20,000 to the American Red Cross for relief efforts and is encouraging all Quest employees to make a donation to which Quest will match up to an additional $20,000.

Anyway, if you can see your way to help those folks in real need, please do so through Thanks.
