[MUSIC PLAYING] The conference this year has just been amazing. The number of people here has made it a very exciting conference. Having customers and partners here at the same time has really worked out for us.
The conference is fantastic, and I've been from the very beginning. So I've seen it grow from 50 to 60 people, when we did the first one, into what it is today. To be able to engage with customers that come along to this-- but also the partners -- because there's a great value in sharing knowledge, resources with the other partners. And I think that's what's really important about this event.
It's not often that a partner and the customer are together. I think it's the best thing, right here, that we can do. In the lunch time, we can speak with both. I think it's a good idea.
What was really nice is networking. So you see a lot of partners talking about their projects, their lessons learned, and see how you can help each other.
The Unite Conference is really great. I had a lot of interesting discussions with existing customers and probably future customers, as well. It's some kind of community. And I like it really much. And even the presentation, they're very interesting. The opening on yesterday, in the morning, it was really great.
So far, I really liked the presentation that Jackson Shaw was giving. He seemed like a nice guy. And I liked the topics that he discussed.
I think the two key things from my presentation that resonated with the audience-- I felt number one was the fact that we were on this journey to the cloud. And we definitely want to get there and bring our on-prem customers with us. And the second thing is that we're investing in our on-prem products also. This isn't an all or nothing in the cloud. We're doing both. And the way that we're doing it is benefiting both sets of customers.
I believe that confidence that the team bought into the [INAUDIBLE] of it and explaining the position of it, as well as getting didn't the new technology. Rudy did a great presentation on blockchain. To see that this is something you guys are thinking about it-- for me that was really key.
Last night was the awards dinner. It was fantastic. We were able to recognize some of our key partners around the region, and oversee our EMEA partner of the year. Fantastic. And I really, really enjoyed it. It really helps to culminate in a great week that United has been.
For us, One Identity, the foundation of the program, the foundation of the technology, the people in the company have created a fantastic environment. A lot of people have said to me this week, coming to this conference at One Identity, you actually feel part of the One Identity family, which is my goal. I want the partners and customers to be collaborating with each other. I think, next year, when we do this conference, it's going to be a much bigger conference room.
I love the Conference. It's my first time. Good organization. But also, specifically on the topics, which are quite interesting-- I know we chose the right product by being here, and seeing One Identity having a strategic view and vision that we can align to, and which I understand. So yeah, I'm quite happy and looking forward to being here next year.
