deleting a type definition from FMS

Hello,

it would be great to understand if its possible (and how) to delete a type definition from the FMS?

    Hello Eli,

    it is not recommended to delete object types as it could have unexpected side effects.
    Or do you want to delete old objects and the collected metrics? That can be done via the Object Cleanup dashboard which is located in "Administration | Management Server | Servers".

    If you want to delete a type you created by yourself, you can check the solution below. The article describes an object + type deletion for DB User Defined collections. Based on that example, you can create your own deletion script for your object type. Here the link:

    Note: Do not delete topology types you did not create by yourself. A missing topology type could corrupt the Foglight Server.
