local mount utility error 6.1.2.115

Hi, I try to mount a recovery point with the local mount utiliy installed on my desktop a Windows 10 machine.

When I select the recovery point and try to mount in read only I got an error

Can't start AAVdisk on machine '.'

If I try to go on active mount, I got an error Windows can't verify the numeric signature of the file.

It was working fine with the previous version 6.1.1.

I try to repair the installation with no luck. If I install the local mount utility on the core server, it's working fine.

  • This is a Windows 10/Windows Server 2016 issue, related to secure boot, specifically with a new way of signing drivers.
    You have two options:
    1. Disable Secureboot
    2. Open a support ticket with us and we will provide you with Windows 10/2016 specific drivers.
You need to open the case as we need to record all the cases these drivers were handed out.

    Hope that this helps.
  • You're right. Between the upgrade I change my laptop and didn't desactivate secure boot on the second one. It's working now. I will create a ticket to get the driver.

    Thanks for your help
