FGLAM

we installed foglight for oracle v 5.7.5.50 and installed it in oracle Linux 5.4 with embedded postgres database

and add commercial license file for foglight for oracle and when try to click on monitor tab to monitor oracle database

appear the below error :

"To start the installation process an Agent Manager of version 5.7.0 or above needs to be allocated. Please ensure at least one Agent Manager with the required version is install and associated with the Foglight Management Server, then retry the operation."

    Hi Shaimaa,

    The message suggests that a Foglight Agent Manager (FglAM) is not reporting into the FMS. You can navigate in the Expert View to Administration | Agents | Agent Managers to confirm that an active FglAM is active and connected to the FMS.

    If this was the Foglight for Oracle 5.7.5.50 package installer (with the FMS, FglAM, and database cartridge included) the FglAM would be installed automatically together. I would recommend opening a Service Request with Support to review the FglAM installation.

    If this was an installation of a FMS with the Oracle cartridge separately, then I would recommend downloading the Foglight Agent Manager software (cartridge) to add the FglAM component to the FMS, and then download a Foglight Agent Manager executable or binary from the FMS to install a separate FglAM.
