I'm currently doing a forest to forest migration using Quest and I'm having the following question.
Setup
We have domain A with a functioning Exchange environment.
We have domain B to which the AD users need to be migrated.
Users from domain B are Dirsynced to Office 365
Goals
Migrate users to domain B
Migrate mailboxes from Exchange environment A to Office 365
Question
I'm wondering which Exchange option I need to choose in order to perform the migration to Office 365 afterwards.
- Users without mail options
- Mail-enabled users
- Mail-enabled users for Native Move
- Mailbox-enabled users
We don't have an Exchange environment on domain B so I assume the user just has to be Mail-Enabled? Or should I only add the addon (C:\Program Files (x86)\Quest Software\Migration Manager\Active Directory\SyncExchangeRelatedAttributes.xml) and leave the Exchange options default?
