I am trying to use bare metal backup - well, testing it anyway to see if its any use to us. I am complete confounded by the documentation and terminology.
To access a NetVault Bare Metal Recovery Client machine correctly for backup and restore, add it to the Plug-in Server. After you have added an initial NetVault Bare Metal Recovery Client to the NetVault Backup Server, repeat these steps to add additional clients.
What is the plug-in server??? is this just the netvault server? I am testing this on a windows system.
I installed the windows client and the baremetal plugin on the target windows system. I have downloaded the vaultos and am creating the iso boot usb. I assume that is correct and is what I would expect having used other systems such as acronis and ghost products. Do I need another server besides my netvault server?
