Copy/Paste with permissions missing

Sorry for the delay with replying to your post.

This function should be there on any Core or Agent. If it's not I would recommend a repair of either the Core/Agent.

Another option is we have a powershell script that can copy with permissions as well you can use.

Please let us know if that doesn't work.

If you want to manually register the paste with permissions menu option, do this:

1. Validate that CopyAclExtension.dll exists in C:\Windows\System32 (if it doesn't, copy it from a working core)
2. Run regsvr32 /u CopyAclExtension.dll to unregister it
3. Run regsvr32 CopyAclExtension.dll to register it
4. Paste with permissions should be available.

If it's not after doing those steps, a reboot might be needed and then repeat the steps.

This sounds correct and should be a KB.

It did not work but I cannot reboot the server until at least tonight so I don't know for sure yet but I have no reason to believe it will not work.

That did not work but what did work was copying that .dll from a working server and replacing it on the broken one.

Thanks again. This definitely should be a KB. I'm guessing you can add this .dll to any machine.
