Looking ahead to SharePoint in 2012 - #qsharepoint

Wow - hard to believe I’ve been with Quest going on six weeks now – time flies! As 2011 wraps up, most of us in IT look back on what’s happened in the past year in their respective industries – and, even more fun, to try and “predict what in the world might happen in the coming year,” as David Rubinstein puts it in his article from yesterday, “Twelve SharePoint predictions for 2012.”

You may notice that these predictions came from me. It was great to be asked to talk to SPTechWeb for the piece. I based my predictions on a lot of different things – my experiences over the past year, what people are chattering about most at events, customer feedback, my “gut feel” on what’s going to be important in the coming year. But, predictions are just that – predictions – which means they’re always debatable. I’d love to hear what everyone thinks. Which do you agree with. Which do you disagree with? Which do you see impacting you personally?
